1. Information we collect

• Account data — email address, name, profile photo (if you sign in with Google or LinkedIn), and session identifiers.
• Resume & career content — text, files you upload (PDF/DOCX/TXT), and content you generate with AI tools (rewrites, cover letters, LinkedIn copy, etc.).
• Billing data — plan type, order IDs, and payment status. Card details are processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data — pages visited, feature usage, device / browser type, and approximate location (e.g. country) for currency and security.

2. How we use information

• Provide sign-in, resume building, cloud save, exports, and AI-assisted writing.
• Process payments and fulfill paid plans (Resume Pass, Pro).
• Send transactional emails such as one-time login codes and billing receipts.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your resume content to train public foundation models.

3. Sign-in providers

If you use Google or LinkedIn to sign in, those providers share basic profile information (such as name, email, and avatar) with us under their policies. You can also sign in with an email one-time code without a password.

4. Sharing

We use trusted processors to run the product, including hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing (Razorpay), and AI inference providers. They process data only to provide their services to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

5. Retention & security

We keep account and resume data while your account is active and as needed for legal, billing, or security purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, secure cookies). No method of transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your choices

• Access or update profile details while signed in.
• Request deletion of your account and associated resumes by contacting us.
• Stop using OAuth by disconnecting access from your Google or LinkedIn account settings.

7. Children

ResumePeaks is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

We may process data in India and other countries where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations with appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
